The WOW project “Unexpected Hammam”, designed by SUMMUMSTUDIO, wins the 2022 Casa Decor Best Project Award.
On May 17, 2022, the X edition of the Casa Decor 2022 Awards was held.
WOW participated for the first time in what is considered the most important interior design event on the national scene and the result could not have been better, winning the award for the Best Project of Casa Decor 2022.
We trusted in SummumStudio for the design of our space, which opted for a clean, architectural and inspiring design in which the absolute protagonist was ceramics (Stardust, Mestizaje and Mud collections) and the ceramic lattice designed by the same studio called ICON that we will launch on the market in the coming months. ICON was presented for the first time at this event and did so with great expectations after having been awarded the prestigious international design award Red Dot Design.
We have a complete redesign look to bring you all our novelties and products in an easy and modern way.
The jury’s decision highlighted “the brilliant integration of the product in the project, through a fresh, innovative, coherent and well-executed architectural proposal, which clearly reflects the transforming power of the interior design of spaces, and how an absolute experience can be achieved through the five senses”.
The jury was made up of Ramón Esteve, one of the greatest exponents of contemporary architecture; Meritxell Ribé and Josep Puigdomènech, interior designers at The Room Studio and winner of the 2021 Casa Decor Best Project Award; Soledad Lorenzo, director of the magazine Arquitectura y Diseño; Pilar Civis, director of the Interiores magazine; Pilar Marcos, director of the magazine Diseño Interior; and Marta Riopérez, director of the Elle Decoration and Nuevo Estilo magazines.
From WOW we want to thank all the people who have made this project possible, to CasaDecor for believing in our work and especially to our clients and collaborators, because without them this achievement would not be possible.
We are very proud of this award since it places value on ceramics as a material with a high aesthetic and technical value.
We are already thinking about the next edition!
